Who we are

One of India's most dependable lift partners.

We are prominent suppliers and repair-service providers of passenger elevators, bed / hospital lifts and goods / service elevators. We understood our customers' needs and preferences and offer products that fulfil their organisational requirements - built for every industrial purpose, available across a wide range of choices and specifications.

One of our most important strengths is the strategy of competitive pricing that we follow. We also provide after-sale support including operator training and minor repairs, so the equipment we hand over keeps running the way it was commissioned.

Built to specification

Every cabin, door and machine configuration is selected against the shaft, load and traffic profile of your building.

Competitive by strategy

Pricing discipline is part of how we operate - not a discount at the end of a negotiation.

After-sale support

Operator training, minor repairs and structured AMC packages from the day of handover onward.

The range

Seven categories. One engineering standard.

Whatever moves vertically in your building - people, patients, pallets or vehicles - there is a Vamboo Lifts configuration engineered for it.

Doors

Ten door systems. Open one and look.

Elevator doors protect riders from falling into the shaft. The most common configuration has two panels that meet in the middle and slide open laterally. In a cascading configuration - which allows wider entryways within a limited shaft - the panels run on independent tracks, tucking behind one another when open and forming cascading layers on one side when closed.

Drive technology

Three ways to move a car up a shaft.

Conventional traction, machine room less and hydraulic. Each with its own suitable equipment options - we specify the one your building actually needs.

The proven configuration: a traction or mono-block winding unit driving the car through steel ropes and a V-sheave, guided by precision rails and balanced by a counterweight. Structural or civil shaft, machine room above.

The concept of Machine Room Less is the latest in elevator technology. The winding unit is more advanced and compact than conventional, and is mounted above the hoistway - releasing the machine room back to the building. We stay constantly in touch with the industry for the latest upgrades and developments in this area.

Hydraulic technology is well established in India across industries and automobiles, and the same transmission principle drives the lift. Though the main equipment - the power pack - is available in India, we import ours from abroad. Supplied as direct lifting or indirect (rope) lifting, including building-outside installations where no internal shaft exists.

Why Vamboo Lifts

A supplier, a manufacturer, and a service company.

Single point of accountability

Supply, installation, commissioning and repair sit with one team - no vendor hand-offs when something needs fixing.

Specification-led design

Load, traffic, shaft dimensions and building use drive the equipment list - not a fixed catalogue package.

Coastal & industrial ready

Seven-tank treatment, protective overlaying and 304-grade options for humid, saline and heavy-duty environments.

Competitive pricing strategy

Cost discipline is structural to how we buy, build and install - which is why our quotations hold up under comparison.

Operator training included

After-sale support covers training your team on operation of the equipment, including minor repairs if needed.

Safety engineered in

Over speed governors, ARD, full safety circuits and dynamically balanced rotating parts as standard, not as upgrades.

Planned maintenance

Scheduled AMC visits with a documented checklist - lubrication, alignment, brake, rope and safety-gear verification.

Reachable when it matters

A breakdown call reaches a person, not a queue. WhatsApp, phone or a site visit - whichever gets the lift running fastest.

How we work

From site survey to lifetime service.

A five-stage process that has stayed the same since 2009, because it works.

Start with a survey
STEP 01

Site survey & requirement study

We measure the shaft, pit and headroom, understand traffic patterns and building use, and confirm power availability before anything is quoted.

STEP 02

Specification & drawing approval

Cabin, door and machine options are selected together with you. General arrangement drawings are issued for approval before manufacturing begins.

STEP 03

Manufacturing & procurement

Cabins and doors are fabricated to the approved drawing; controllers, VVVF drives and machines are procured from established brands.

STEP 04

Erection, testing & commissioning

Guide rail alignment, machine mounting on vibration-damped beams, wiring, load testing and safety-gear verification - then handover.

STEP 05

Training, warranty & AMC

Your team is trained on operation and minor repairs. Warranty runs from commissioning, and an AMC keeps the lift on a documented service schedule.

Service & AMC

A lift is not delivered. It is maintained.

We are equally a repair-service provider. Whether we installed the lift or not, we take over maintenance, breakdown attendance and modernisation of existing installations - with the same after-sale support philosophy we have followed since 2009.

Report a breakdown

Comprehensive & semi-comprehensive AMC

Scheduled preventive visits, lubrication, brake and rope inspection, safety-gear testing and documented service reports.

Breakdown attendance

Priority call-outs for trapped-passenger and total-stoppage events, with escalation to a senior technician when needed.

Modernisation of old lifts

VVVF conversion, auto-door retrofits, new COP/LOP fascias, ARD addition and full cabin refurbishment inside the existing shaft.

Operator training

Hands-on training for your maintenance staff on daily operation, safe rescue procedure and minor repairs.

Spares & component supply

Controllers, drives, machines, OSGs, ropes, guide rails, COP/LOP fixtures and door operators supplied as standalone components.

Questions

Before you enquire

As a broad rule: conventional traction for most mid- and high-rise buildings where a machine room is available; MRL where floor area or headroom is constrained and you want the machine room back; hydraulic for low-rise, retrofit or building-outside installations where a shaft has to be added to an existing structure. We confirm the right choice at the site survey, based on travel height, load, speed and power availability.

Yes. We regularly install into existing structures - including outside-the-building hydraulic lifts with a structural glass or MS shaft where no internal shaft exists. The survey establishes pit depth, headroom and structural anchoring before we commit to a design.

We do. We are a repair-service provider as much as a supplier, and we take over AMC, breakdown attendance and modernisation for third-party installations after an initial condition assessment.

Training your team on operation of the equipment, including minor repairs, plus the warranty period from commissioning. Beyond that, an AMC keeps the installation on a documented preventive-maintenance schedule.

SS 304 is the safest specification for saline air. Where an MS cabin is preferred for cost, we clean the sheet through a full 7-tank process, powder coat it, and additionally protect the back side of the cabin sections with suitable overlaying to prevent rusting.

Typically it depends on shaft readiness rather than on us. Once drawings are approved and the shaft, pit and machine room are handed over civil-complete, a standard passenger lift is commissioned in a matter of weeks. We give a firm schedule with the quotation.
